Potassium Acetate
An environmentally safe and effective de-icer alternative to chlorides. Friendlier to corrosion sensitive infrastructures such as roads, bridges and parking decks, and is effective in the most extreme winter conditions.
Use Instructions
Ready to use and requires no dilution, heating or mixing.
Anti-Icing: apply 1/2 gallon per 1,000 sq. ft.
De-Icing: 1 gallon per 1,000 sq. ft. for thin ice. 3 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. for ice up to 1” thick
Pre-Wetting Solid: can be applied directly to sand or solid de-icer at 1.25 gallons per 100 lbs. of dry or solid de-icer
